Omni-channel fulfilment platform Fluent Retail has appointed former SAP Hybris senior executive, Graham Jackson, as chief executive of its Australian business.
The retail and ecommerce specialist joins Fluent Retail at a time of rapid growth since launching in the Australian market last year.
Jackson is a former senior vice president for APJ & China at SAP Hybris and Mehdi Fassaie, President of the Parcel Point and Fluent Retail Group, said Jackson had been pivotal in helping many Australian and global retailers meet the challenge of providing the “right product to the customer at the right time regardless of the channel they choose”.
“I’m confident he will build a very strong foundation from which to grow this business and our market share,” Fassaie said.
{loadposition peter}According to Fassaie, since launching last year, the company has already experienced strong interest from the retail sector and counts Woolworths, Big W, Samsung, Oroton, EBay, Nine West, Bras N Things, French Connection, Ezibuy, Top Shop, Seed Heritage, MJ Bale, Metcash and Collect+ as customers.

Jackson said that Fluent Retail knows Australian customers love to use Click & Collect.
“They order online and then go to the store to pick up, but this poses big challenges for retailers. The retailer needs to check that the product the customer has chosen is in-store and if it isn’t, find the quickest and most cost effective way to get it there.
“Fluent Retail’s cloud system enables retailers with both physical and online stores to gain a single real-time view of their inventory, so they can see where the stock is and what the best way is to get that product to the customer.”
Jackson said Fluent Retail’s cloud-based platform is secure, scalable and quick to deploy, and retailers can be operational with Click & Collect in just four weeks offering customers a “seamless experience between online and in- store”.
